second day. They''re calling for the country''s current prime minister to resign. Thousands of Thaksin supporters continue to rally today outside the Prime Minister''s office in Bangkok. This ongoing protest is the latest episode in Thailand''s long-running political crisis. Government House was occupied for months last year by anti-Thaksin demonstrators. They helped undermine a series of governments loyal to the former premier, who now lives in exile. But these supporters are vowing to stay at Government House until the current Prime Minister resigns. Thaksin told his supporters he will reveal who was behind the coup that unseated him in 2006. [Weng Tojirakan, Opposition Leader]:
"As far as I know, tonight the people who thought they were above the constitution (in 2006) will be disclosed. I would like to hear this because I, myself, still don''t know who they are. Whether or not he (Thaksin) says it is true or false, please let the 65 million Thai citizens judge." The protesters are looking forward to hearing what he has to say. "My expectation is to listen to what he (Thaksin) says about people behind the coup." Analysts say these latest street protests do not pose a serious threat to the current prime minister. He survived a no-confidence vote in parliament last weekend.

(7เม.ย.52) กลุ่มเสื้อแดงได้เดินทางมาด้วยรถบัสจำนวน 12 คัน เกือบ 1 พันคนเพื่อปิดล้อม สภ.เมืองพัทยา เรียกร้องความเป็นธรรมให้ นาย วันเฉลิม กุนเสน ผู้รอดชีวิตจากเหตุการณ์รถยนตร์อภิสิทธิ์เ วชชาชีวะ พุ่งเข้าชน โดยทางกลุ่มเสื้อแดงได้ส่งตัวแทนเข้าไปพูด คุยกับเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจ โดยเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจได้เจรจาต่อรองขอเวลาส อบสวน นาย วันเฉลิม ก่อน 10 นาทีเพื่อทำการปล่อยตัวแต่เหตุการณ์เริ่มต รึงเครียดขึ้นเมื่อเวลาเลย 10 นาที กลุ่มเสื้อแดงได้กระจายกำลังล้อมโรงพักพร้ อมกับเตรียมบุกเพื่อเข้าแย่งชิง ตัวนาย วันเฉลิม ซึ่งเจ้าหน้าที่จึงตัดสินใจปล่อยตัวนาย วันเฉลิม โดยให้ นาย วันเฉลิม รับทราบข้อกล่าวหาจำนวน 2 ข้อหา คือทำร้ายร่างกายผู้อื่น และ ทำลายทรัพย์สิน ซึ่ง นาย วันเฉลิม ก็เซ็นรับทราบ ก่อนที่กลุ่มเสื้อแดงพร้อม นายวันเฉลิม ขึ้นรถบัส เดินทางเข้าร่วมชุมนุมกับกลุ่มเสื้อแดงที่ กทม.ทันที
